Green Team Garden Specialists was founded by Diane Zacks in 1993 after returning from the USA where she had run a very successful Pest Control business in Houston, Texas for 10 years.

Green Team Garden Specialists is one of the most respected garden specialist companies in Cape Town. The personal attention and custom service ethos of the Green Team stems from the fact that Diane trained as an Occupational Therapist at UCT and then worked at Red Cross Hospital before emigrating to the States.
With extensive experience in the industry since 1993, Diane is the vision and the driving force behind the company. Being a family owned and owner-managed business, quality garden services and attention to detail are equally important to her and her team members.
In the beginning, Diane used to outsource her landscaping, irrigation, pruning, tree and palm felling services but she soon discovered that with her team they could perform the work better and were more reliable than third parties and hence they could provide a superior service to and assist their clients at short notice when they needed urgent attention or where a broad scope of services were required to sort out a number of different problems in their clients garden/s.
As a result, Green Team Garden Specialists is now essentially a one-stop shop offering landscaping, irrigation, planting, lawn laying, tree and palm felling, tree and rose pruning, refuse removal, disease control and spraying, garden clean ups and garden maintenance services to their clients.
Green Team Garden Specialists predominantly services the Atlantic Seaboard, City Bowl and West Coast areas of Cape Town, but they also do provide garden services to clients in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town.
Over the past 27 years, Green Team Garden Specialists has built up a loyal customer base of regular clients, some of whom have been with Green Team for more than 25 years.
